This week's topic is:
Top 10 Bookworm Delights!

1. Hearing the spine crack when I open a new hardcover: Obvs I don't neccessarily mean a HUGE crack, but I love the noise it makes when I open one. It always gives me that giddy smile. Especially if it's a book I haven't read or have been anticipating for a long time!

2. Being in the wild and seeing someone with a book. Extra points for them if it's something I've read and loved too: I love finding those books lovers who are just like me and can read anywhere. And if I see they're reading something I've read and loved, they're automatically my friend. They don't know it, but they are lol

3. Finding quotes that I know will stick with me forever: I LOVE that feeling. I have a huge collection of composition books in all colors where I have written down hundreds of quotes from all the books I've read. I've spent many an afternoon flipping through those notebooks just looking at the quotes I've loved.

4. Reading while it's raining outside and the blinds are open: For whatever reason I'm a HUGE fan of thunderstorms. I love to read a book while they're outside raging.

5. Finally holding a book that I've been anticipating for a long time: The next one I'll get this feeling with will be A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas! I've been waiting over a year for this book (I was lucky enough to read the first one early) and I have been dying for this sequel!

6. Unlimited reading time: I love my fiance to death, I really do. But when I'm in the middle of a super great read and I am sucked into it, I sometimes hate that I have to get up and cook or do laundry or something. I love when I can lay on the couch and just read the day away.

7. When the cover image is in the book or the title is in the book: Well unless it's corny.... But I do like seeing them nevertheless.

8. Relating books to real life things that I do: Hence my Beyond the Book posts! I love making things relate to the books I read. It makes fiction seem so much closer to real life lol

9. Closing a book that I loved: I really love when I'm able to do a happy sigh at the end of a book I've loved. Bonus points if I've stayed up all night just to finish it!

10. Beautiful covers on books that I've loved: I know this is stupid, but I hate when books have these gorgeous covers and I have to DNF them. I buy a lot of books based on the cover (I know this is bad... So sue me.) and when the inside isn't as good it sort of ticks me off lol But when both the cover and the content are on point, it automatically becomes a book that I start to book push to EVERYONE.

Can y'all relate to any of these?
