Blog Tour: Sadie by Courtney Summers- My Fave Podcasts!

Sadie hasn't had an easy life. Growing up on her own, she's been raising her sister Mattie in an isolated small town, trying her best to provide a normal life and keep their heads above water.
But when Mattie is found dead, Sadie's entire world crumbles. After a somewhat botched police investigation, Sadie is determined to bring her sister's killer to justice and hits the road following a few meagre clues to find him.
When West McCray—a radio personality working on a segment about small, forgotten towns in America—overhears Sadie's story at a local gas station, he becomes obsessed with finding the missing girl. He starts his own podcast as he tracks Sadie's journey, trying to figure out what happened, hoping to find her before it's too late.

There are two things about this that really spoke to me... The true crime feel and the podcast aspect. So today, I thought I'd share some of my favorite podcasts with you all. Some of them are bookish and some of them are actually true crime related. I hope some of you give these a try!

Martinis and Murder: I'm sure I've said it a dozen times, but I live off watching Investigation Discovery and Oxygen. It's a true crime podcast but also gives some helpful tips for Martinis and sometimes there's recipes. (Recommended for 21+ because of the alcohol talk)

Scholastic Reads: I like listening to this one because it has so much information for librarians. And there are some awesome books mentioned and even some author visits or quotes. It's pretty cool.

Serial: I was right along with the rest of the world where every time a new episode aired I was super into it. It creeped me out, but still, its so worth it!

Hey YA: This one talks about all things YA and it's so interesting to me. I barely found this one and I haven't listened to many episodes, but I'd like to very soon!

In Sadie, podcasts are at the center of the story. I haven't read many YA that talks about podcasts and I really hope to see more. I REALLY hope they catch on.

Also, don't forget the podcast based on Sadie's story!
