Mara Dyer doesn't think life can get any stranger than waking up in a hospital with no memory of how she got there. It can. She believes there must be more to the accident she can't remember that killed her friends and left her mysteriously unharmed. There is. She doesn't believe that after everything she's been through, she can fall in love. She's wrong.

*MY THOUGHTS*
Ok, I know this is NOT what the blog says I’m currently reading, but I JUST got my copy of this book and once I started reading it, I just couldn’t stop… Oh man, this book was A M A Z I N G!!! I was expecting something completely different than what I got, and in this day, it was an absolutely wonderful thing. What first made me want to read this was the cover. It’s absolutely gorgeous! Its so mysterious, I just had to know what was going on inside the book. Then as I started reading, from the very beginning I was enveloped in Mara’s world. With every chapter that I finished, I was pulled more into her world, trying to figure out everything that was going on in her strange life. There’s so much I want to say about this book, but I don’t want to say too much for fear that I’ll start ranting about the book  give out spoilers (which I HATE doing).

One thing I loved about the book was the paranormal power that Mara possessed. It was refreshing to have something different than what the usual is (vampires, zombies, werewolves, and things like that…). That was mainly what kept me rooted to the book. I wanted to find out as much about her power as I could. I loved her power. I found myself wishing I could do what she could but using it responsibly of course lol
The other thing that kept me coming back for more in Mara’s world was none other than the incredibly hot, foreign, smart, cocky a**hole of Noah Shaw. OMG I loved him. I don’t know what it is about me, but I always fall for guys like him. I think it was his attitude and all his secrets that kept me wanting to know more, but whatever the reason, I loved him. Too bad he was MADE for Mara…. (You know what I mean if you read it. If not, that’s one thing to look forward to.)
Towards the end though, Mara did kind of get annoying to me. I felt like she kept feeling sorry for herself. I was thinking to myself, figure out what it is and try to control it! (Yes I was actually screaming this at the book smh) I don’t like to be around CHRONICALLY DEPRESSED people… And that’s what she felt like to me. I was too close to the end to stop though.
Lastly, WTF KIND OF ENDING WAS THAT?! Omg talk about a cliff hanger!!!  Ugh I hate them, but this was really the only way you could end a book like this…. Let me just say… Michelle Hodkin, you’re a literary genius.
So if you can make a review out of that.... You're amazing as well. I didn't think I'd be able to pull it off. i had so many things I wanted to say, I didn't think I'd be able to put them into words.

 Overall, I give this ***** (5 out of 5)
