This week's topic is:
Top 10 Authors I'm Thankful For
These are in no particular order.

1. J.K. Rowling: She created a HUGE part of my childhood with Harry Potter. I will FOREVER cherish this series and her.

2. R.L. Stine: Guys, he's the reason I grew up to like all the heart pounding scary things that I do. he introduced me to to the paranormal when I didn't even know.

Ann M. Martin

3. Ann M. Martin: As you all know, I'm only attending school here in Huntsville. I'm originally from Galveston, Texas. Well my home lost its entire first floor where my ENTIRE collection of the Babysitter's Club books were. You guys, I cried for days. Even though by then I was already a sophomore in college. It's just that those books were what introduced me to chapter books. I will always hold them near and dear to my heart.

4. Simone Elkeles: At first, I wouldn't read anything without some kind of paranormal element, but my Blogger friends convinced me to try YA contemporary. I remember giving Perfect Chemistry a try and from then on, a love for contemporary romance was born

5. Stephenie Meyer: You introduced me to paranormal romance as well as YA. I took a minute to read your books, but when I did I found a whole new genre and I fell in LOVE.

6. Edgar Allan Poe: Two words- Tell-tale heart. <3 After reading that I fell in love with your writing and read everything of yours that I could. You introduced me to all adult things dark and dreary.

7. The Brothers Grimm: Dude, you all know who these guys are. They had a huge influence on literature and I want to thank them for all their stories and the morals that I learned from them.

8. Harper Lee: Thank you for writing like my favorite book EVER. It truly was an epic story and it deserves to be considered a classic.

9. Suzanne Collins: Thanks for getting people, even those that hate reading, excited for your books and reading in general. If you can get my boyfriend (who only likes games and movies) to read them with me, I'm convinced you can do ANYTHING.

10. Dr.Seuss: Thank you for writing the first book I ever read by myself! (Which was One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish) Thank you for opening up all those windows for me and making me WANT to read, even all those years ago.
