*MY THOUGHTS*

I remember a while ago when I first found out about this book. I was so excited and all I wanted was to read it. (Mind you this was when it was first announced that it was coming out lol) So then it finally became a reality and I was so happy. A little about me, I LOVE contemps... Even more so if they're set in the summer. So this was right up my alley! And of course, it made it even better when I was able to join the blog tour!
The summer is my favorite time. The sun's out, sometimes there's a beach and sand involved, and then there's almost always a wisftul, fun, romance. And that's what this book is all about. The romance in the summer time. Some of them I liked more than others, but overall, I did like the book. Since this is set during my favorite season I have to say I liked it more than the winter one! When you have stories like Inertia by Veronica Roth, HOW COULD I NOT LIKE IT MORE?!
The reason I liked this one more was the diversity. There's ethnic diversity and orientation diversity and I loved reading about the differences in all of them. Especially since in Goodbye and Farewell by Brandy Colbert. It really made me think back on how my love life was when I was a teen. This is why we need Diverse Books. This book was the perfect example of it.
The only problem I had with this one was the fact that most all the stories were a bit sad. In my head, a summer romance is light, airy, and fun up until the end of summer. But at the end of the day, I guess they can change according to the author. I just think maybe it could've done with some light and fluffy like In Ninety Minutes Turn North by Stephanie Perkins. But I know not every romance is like that.

This is my favorite of the two anthologies and I can't wait to see what else Stephanie Perkins has up her sleeve. Maybe she'll do one for Spring or Fall. Either or, I'll be adding it to my TBR!
Overall, I give this
