I made this really cutesy bookstagram last weekend because I was in love with Opposite of Always. I will be meeting him next weekend and I am already excited. I'm going to try printing this and I'll see if I can get him to sign it. I want to add it to me library!

My library system puts together this event called Tournament of Books. Teams of 4 teens get together to read this set of books. They go through different events to decide who will represent their school and public library. It's then narrowed down to 5 teams for the finals. The finals were held yesterday and I was fortunate to be able to judge. It was so refreshing to see all those teens reading by choice. I wish all of them could win, but alas it went down to one team! A team of all boys (who said boys don't read?!) who were so happy that they won that one of them had tears in his eyes and another jumped up and down. All of them worked so hard and I was glad everyone was able to go home with a prize. I was sad I couldn't go to #NTTBF but I think this is where I needed to be this weekend!
It was #NationalPuppyDay so I got a quick selfie with my babe. There's another pic in my story of him "smizing" lmao Go check it out!

That's great about your teen event this weekend! Makes up for missing an event when teens are happy about reading! That's definitely a worthy accomplishment! :D
